In 2011 we were lucky enough to host a farm visit for a group of children from central London, brought to us by Weetabix, with whom we have a wheat contract. It was a fantastic day and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Watch the short film below to see what we got up to.
This has inspired us to have other educational visits and with the help of Natural England we currently plan to hold more visits for local schools each summer, as well as showing interested adult groups what we do on the farm.
We raise money on our farm walks and in 2012 donated £400 to MacMillan Cancer Support.
Each year we plan to hold several farm walks, typically these are held during early evening and last approximately two hours.
